It's all just coming together. My 06 yukon 2wd ( with the thrid row seat) had the same rake as the rest. Expect to replace a couple of the steering.

Getting bored with my tahoe so figured i would try and post some pictures up to see what yall think. Found some great dark pewter leather bucket seats on ebay out of an 06 tahoe. I was hoping to get some opinions on these and figure out which is.
I prefer the nnbs in a few areas especially the 6.2, better seats/interior, steering with rack pinion, and struts.
I've had a nbs and now a nnbs. I am way more familiar with the nbs tahoe's than the 2007 and newer but some mechanical aspects transfer over for years. I agree the nbs are built like a. Maybe give me some suggestions on what i could do next.
My current dd and escape vehicle is a basic nbs yukon that has near no mods. I have a 6.0 nbs escalade i had plans for, including a 2spd transfercase swap etc but i sorta. But you get to see how things are coming along. Its about a 2 difference from front to back.

I'm pretty sure all these tahoe and yukons have the rake.
Body mounts are going to get more structure. These are only common lift/tire combinations that seem to work well together. The bolsters do grab you right on this much like the nbs, comfy seat, leather seems decent quality but the seat heaters are lame compared to the butt roasters in the nbs. At almost 68 i still work in the self storage industry.
I fabricated seat mounts out of flat bar 1/4 steel and grade 8 bolts so i could use the existing. Figured the forum could use a fresh build. I am really wanting to go with a tahoe/yukon either way that i go but i cant decide if i should go nbs or obs.
