I thought that mission was to freeze the mimics with the field upgrade not using the ammo mod.
I've read other people having issues with this and i've tried all their solutions and 0 have worked. You can usually find and freeze around five mimics in a single run without difficulty. Ran over to the mimic bounty and set my frost blast on it. I’ve even tried weakening them first.
As mentioned, hit the infested. I've had them run through it, and i have put it right next to them. Once you’ve frozen all five mimics, head to any. The mission calls for freezing 5 mimics with the frost blast field upgrade.
