The cva scout that i recently purchased has been delivered and i thought it would be interesting to do a bit of a review on it so to start with here are my first impressions.

I bought one a little over 2 years ago, when they first came out. Right out of the box i was impressed by the quality of the build for the price. I had a look at the cva scout in 45/70 and i like it. I am surprised they can be sold for so cheap and still make a profit.

I am thinking the cva scout v2 in a more or less powerful than you deer hunt with just for fun ammo like the 35 whelen or 223 would be a nice addition to a gun collection. Chambered in some impressive calibers like.35 whelen,.243,.35 remington and a threaded barrel.300 blk. Out of the box weights 6.3# with the 20” barrel. I just thought i'd like to have one in.350 legend to.

Having shot many deer with my single shot, i was quite interested in this thread. I honestly don't need one, and my cva scout v2 td above in.450 bushmaster is shooting outstanding with factory ammo. The cva scout v2.450 is a solid rifle.

Cva scout v2 is an option, but i understand it doesn't have the bergara barrel like the apex did though i've heard decent. The purpose for this rifle will be a lightweight “run & gun” deer hunting rifle. I already had a ruger american, actually 2, but ruger recalled the first. Everything looks good, and the lockup is solid.

I know there are a bunch of reviews on youtube and elsewhere.
