I'm looking to convert a 2wd f250 extended cab to a 4wd. I am going to install a front axle from a 2008 or newer. You'll want a dana 60 solid axle.

Basically it involves replacing the beams with the 4x4 axle halves, replacing the tranny with a. Plus you'll need to change out the transmission from your 2 wheel drive to a 4x4 transmission and transfer case. Front axle (obviously!) i would recomend.

Our 2wd to 4wd conversion kits range from just the components you need to convert your frame to everything you need to get you rolling. Has anyone else done this or would i be the first? I'm focusing on the front end suspension and steering here. It has a 400m and a c6 auto in it and a dana 60 rear axle.
