Here are the top 10 coldest from the kentucky mesonet. Much of central and eastern kentucky is under a severe thunderstorm watch. We continue to see temps trending up for the next few days, but another brutally cold setup is on the way. After a huge temp swing out there today, another blast of winter weather is on the way later tonight into wednesday.
Our cold weekend before christmas continues as we gear up for some big changes into christmas week. I don't see a winter storm next week for the first time in a while but i do see some nickel and dime snows but the bitter cold next week is going to take center stage. The only thing left to do is iron out the details to see which areas, if any, can get in on some winter. As you know i don’t like cold and dry weather, and a high heating bill.
