Tacoma 265 70 17 R Lifted World
The width of the tire typically affects rubbing more than the height. Was looking to put a 2 level. I just recently purchased a white 2021 trd sport and i want to add taller tires without installing a lift kit.

Personally, i don't see any reason to. A few people have told me that size will rub and i’ll definitely. Dont do what i did with my other truck, i traded 15 inch rims with 32's for 17 inch rims with 315 70 17's.
I realize the diameter difference but is there any specific reason that people are doing this?
If your lift is 3” and you have stock the largest tire is still 265/70/17 if you run 0.75” bora spacers you can fit 275/70/17. Hello to all of my fellow tacoma owners. I'm going to be putting a new set of 265/70/17 tires & wheels on my stock tacoma, the guy who had the truck before me had 245/70/16's.
You'll be surprised how much bigger a 70. I just put 265/70/17 nitto a/t on my 06 dc and have no rubbing issues and that's on a 9 wide aftermarket wheel with 5.5 backspace.
